Name: Gwyn Griffiths
Rank: Flt Lt (RAFAC)
Position: CO
Cadet service from: 1/9/77 to 31/9/82
Adult  service from: April 2017 to Present

Experience:
I was a CWO in the RAF Section of Northampton CCF, a Cadet Pilot in University of London Air Squadron (ULAS) and a Flying Officer in the General Duties (Pilot) branch of the regular RAF. After my RAF service I spent 27 years at Deloitte, where I was National Risk Management partner and a forensic accountant. Since retiring from Deloitte I have worked as an independent consultant and executive coach. I joined the ATC as a CI with 14F (Northolt) Sqn in April 2017, was commissioned as a Flying Officer in October 2017, transferred to 1083 (Uxbridge) Sqn as Training Officer in January 2018 and was delighted to be offered the OC 114 Sqn role from June 2018, on promotion to Flight Lieutenant.

My Role at 114 Squadron:
Officer Commanding 114 (Ruislip & Northwood) Squadron

My future hopes for 114 Squadron:
I relish the opportunity afforded to me by OC Middlesex Wing to take responsibility for 114 Sqn - one of the best Squadrons in the RAF Air Cadets - and take it forward as its new permanent OC. It is my mission to work with all the staff, the civilian committee, all the NCOs and cadets to make 114 pre-eminent in terms of the breadth of the cadet experience, the variety of our activities, the quality of our band and ceremonial, the achievements of our cadets and (most importantly) the fun we have.
